"It's time to reap what we have sown and planted throughout the years," commenced by Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III of Capiz State University, as she congratulates the academic and non-academic awardees of CAPSU - Roxas City Main Campus during the Recognition Program 2023 held on June 30, 2023 at CAPSU Main Dadivas Gymnasium.
With the theme "Marching Beyond New Normal," the program began after a welcome remark from CAPSU Main's Campus Administrator, Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villaruz, followed by the congratulatory message of Dr. Alfon.
Afterwards, Dr. Joey D. Arroyo, a CAPSU alumna and now President/Chancellor of College of St. John - Roxas, shared some words of encouragement to the honorees from the different departments/colleges of CAPSU as the program's guest speaker.
In his speech, Dr. Arroyo stressed about facing challenges, "Remember, the journey to success is not meant to be easy. It is in the struggle that we find our true strength, our hidden potential, and the best of our character. Embrace the challenges for they are the stepping stones that will lead you to greatness."
Dr. Arroyo then added, "Never stop believing that you will somehow make it. Have a relenting belief that things will work out. That the long road has a purpose, that things that you desire may not happen today, but it will happen."
Hosted by Dr. Emmanuel D. Dayalo, CAPSU Main's Recognition Program 2023 concluded with a closing remarks from Dr. Hazel D. Joaquin, Dean of the College of Education, and a challenge to all honorees and to those who strive to be one to work even harder for their goals.
