Bearing the theme "Strengthening CapSU's Unity and Excellence through Culture and Sports," CapSUnians staged a vibrant display of their artistic talents during the culmination of the Cultural and the Arts Festival, held at the university’s BIT Room T39 on November 29, 2023.
The said competitions were on-the-spot poster making, pencil drawing, charcoal rendering, painting, and photo contests, and were participated in by students from the College of Education (CoEd), College of Management (CM), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT), and Laboratory High School (LHS).
As a result, CEA garnered wins in pencil drawing and charcoal rendering; BIT procured the painting category; CoEd clinched first place in the photo contest; and LHS nailed the on-the-spot poster making.
“I would like to say congratulations to those who have won the competition in our intramural meet with visual arts competitions; pencil drawing, charcoal rendering, on-the-spot poster making, painting, and photography,” said Dr. Warren S. Celoso, the overall chairperson.
The on-the-spot poster-making category was organized under the guidance of Dr. Rogie O. Dadivas; the pencil drawing and charcoal rendering were overseen by Prof. Danilo Araque and Prof. Mark Neil Casidsid; the painting category was led by Mr. Marte Garbo; and the photo contest was facilitated by Architect James Balajay.
