CapSUnians showcase talents in Music and Performing Arts

Alongside the last day of Intramural Meet 2023 was the culmination of the Cultural and Arts Festival, wherein CapSUnians showcased their talents in various events such as instrumental solo, vocal pop solo (Kundiman and OPM), vocal pop duet, lip synchronization battle, and battle of bands, held at the university’s Dadivas Gymnasium on December 1, 2023.

The College of Education (CoEd) bagged first place in instrumental solo, vocal pop solo (OPM), vocal pop duet, lip synchronization battle, and battle of the bands; meanwhile, the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) procured first place in vocal pop solo (Kundiman), second place in instrumental solo, lip synchronization battle, and battle of the bands, and third place in vocal pop duet.

Moreover, the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) department clinched second place in both vocal pop solo (OPM) and vocal pop duet, and third place in both vocal pop solo (Kundiman) and battle of the bands; and the College of Management (CM) secured second place in vocal pop solo (Kundiman) and third place in vocal pop solo (OPM) and lip synchronization battle.

The said competitions provided an avenue for each representative of their respective departments to showcase their talents and skills in the realm of music and performing arts.
