Capiz State University-The Quest Publication held and braced up two –days seminar-workshop on campus journalism for writing skills enlightenment, and gathered new publication staffs last August 29-30,2019 at CapSU Main Conference Room.
The said event started with the discussion of photo and media journalism headed by Mr. Peter Jay Corros, a former TQ photojournalist. The group discussed the different elements of photography and the things that they have to do to save their spot for the screening.
Additionally, Prof. Charess Joy Dela Cruz, the publication adviser presided the news writing workshop and discussed all the important things to be considered in writing a good news article.
“I am very thankful to the student publication for the learning that they imparted to us to be used on our journalism journey,” John Milbar Tumanday expressed.
To develop cartoonist aspirant’s skills, Prof. Charess Joy Dela Cruz discussed the editorial cartooning, and Hosanna Mae Astrolabio, a former EIC of the publication shared her expertise in writing feature articles.
After the two days event, TQ awarded and welcomed new staffs who made spectacular performances during the seminar-workshop on campus journalism.
