𝗚𝗖𝗢 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘀

The Guidance and Counseling Office of Capiz State University - Roxas City Campus, started the academic year 2024-2025 with a 2-day orientation for first-year students on August 6 at the Dadivas Gymnasium.

Attended by the College of Education and College of Management students, the event aims to acquaint the new students with the key officials and other services offered by the university.

Eimee D. Potato, EdD, Chair of the Student Affairs and Services (SAS), delivered the welcome remarks, emphasizing the importance of student support and engagement within the university community.

Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III, then shared a special message that highlighted the shared responsibility of CapSU Main students in upholding the university's values and contributing positively to its growth and reputation.

The orientation continued with a virtual campus tour, offering a glimpse into the mission, vision, and goals of CapSU through an interactive presentation. Key officers, including representatives from the Office of Student Affairs, various student organizations, the Supreme Students Council, guidance and scholarship departments, student partnership programs, registration services, medical, dental, and disability units, and the library, showcased the array of support services available to students.

The event concluded with a closing message from Emmanuel D. Dayalo, EdD, Coordinator of the Student Orientation and Assistance (SOA) department, and a rousing rendition of the CAPSU March, symbolizing the university's spirit and pride.

For the second day, students from the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology, together with the freshmen from the Bachelor in Industrial Technology will convene for the same orientation.
