The Office of Gender and Development of Capiz State University (CapSU)-Main Campus, in commemoration of Gender's Month, conducted its second-day activity with the theme "We for Gender and Inclusive Society," held at the universityโ€™s Dadivas Gymnasium.

Atty. Ann Margaret P. Dy, Legal Officer I of the University, discussed Republic Act 7192, also known as the Women in Development and Nation Building Act, and highlighted the roles of women in the development of a nation.

Meanwhile, Atty. Totche Vic B. Doce, Attorney IV, Legal Office of the University, tackled Republic Act 8972, or The Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2000, emphasizing the responsibilities endowed to women who raised their children alone.

Moreover, several activities induced the whole day of activity to boost engagement with the speakers and the students, enlightening the attendees about the significance of embracing inclusivity and raising awareness about specific laws that secure and promote the roles and rights of women in society.

The pampering activity facilitated by BIT Cosmetology for the faculty and staff that began the last day proceeded while the symposium commenced.
