"I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to everyone who made this journey easier for us," said Engineer Christian Huenda, Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination top 3, in his speech during the Pagpasidungog 2023 at Capiz State University Main Campus Dadivas Gym, September 29, Thursday.
In his speech, Engr. Huenda did not forget to mention each of his professors from the CapSU Main College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT), which earned loud applause from the audience of the event.
Pagpasidungog 2023 was a three-part event held to honor outstanding CapSU Main faculty, staff, and students for bringing pride and quality service to the said institution.
With messages from the Capiz Provincial Governor, Hon. Fredenil Castro, and Roxas City Mayor, Hon. Ronnie Dadivas, the awarding ceremony commenced by Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villaruz, CapSU Main Campus Administrator, was followed by University President III, Dr. Editha C. Alfon's message to the awardees.
Part one of the event, Dungog sa Pasinawan, is a recognition for the topnotchers and passers of the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination and Professional Electrical Engineer.
Dungog sa Pagserbisyo, part two, is an honor to the campus' 21 faculty and staff who have rendered 10-35 years of service to the campus, the faculty retirees, and faculty achievers who won in international research summits and other competitions.
The last part, Dungog sa Kadalag-an, awarded CapSU Main students and athletes who bagged medals during the recently concluded SCUAA and other provincial, regional, and national academic competitions.
Pagpasidungog 2023 concluded with closing remarks from Mrs. Myleen Abelarde, SAO, where she congratulated the awardees and the CapSU staff for fostering an environment fit for achievers and delivering true quality service to all.
