𝗨𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗔-𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗖 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA)-Capiz State University (CapSU) Chapter bagged a total of 11 awards in Karapayan, Architectural Design Competition, and the National Mid-Year Awards during the recently concluded Area C Assembly 2024 held in Ormoc City, Leyte, on February 9–11, 2024.

“Receiving the awards, not just for our chapter but also for our university, allowed us to recognize that all of our planning, execution of UAPSA events, late-night meetings, and hard work to manage our academic and student organization life had paid off. We, the UAPSA CapSU Chapter, are honored to earn such recognition, and we will continue to carry on the legacy and prove what CapSUnians are capable of,” expressed Miljee Shane Alisbo, UAPSA-CapSU President.

Bearing the theme “BUGKOS 3.0: Elysian Pillars of Possibility,” UAPSA-Area C is an annual gathering of the UAPSA chapters from various universities in Visayas. The event serves as a platform for showcasing their skills and talents while celebrating the outstanding UAPSA university chapters in the region.

“The Area C Assembly 2024 was a fresh experience for me. The 13 hours of travel were very exhausting, yet the experience was "one for the books." I actually never thought that I'd go home with an award since everything was decided on the spot. I will forever be in awe, reminiscing about what happened during our trip. It was a blast, and thanks to my seniors and our UAPSA-CapSU adviser for making it a memorable and amazing trip,” Veronik Iza Mahinay said in an interview, one of the winners in the Quiz Bow Group category.
