With an array of performances showcasing Capisnon culture, the Province of Capiz welcomes guests to the CAPIZtahan 2024 as it officially begins after an opening event on April 15 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Roxas City.

Following the raising of banners of the 16 municipalities from Capiz during the opening event, CAPIZtahan 2024 kicked off with the wreath-laying for the late President Manuel Acuña Roxas in honor of his 76th death anniversary.

During the opening program, Capiz Provincial Governor, Honorable Fredenil Castro, urged Capisnons to commit to the "One Capiz!" campaign of the Provincial Government.

The government promises a CAPIZtahan grander than last year with a lineup of the most premiere actors and singers in the country and cultural events that hold significant value to the province.

CAPIZtahan 2024 is a month-long event commemorating the 123rd founding anniversary of the civil government of Capiz, celebrated from April 11th to May 1st of every year.
