As the March Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) approaches, Capiz State University (CapSU) - Main Campus conducted a Mass Offering and a Send-off Ceremony to the LPT hopefuls at the Dadivas Gymnasium, March 14, 2023.
The aforesaid event started with the Holy Mass Celebration which was presided by the University Chaplain and also the Mass Celebrator, Rev. Fr. Robel G. Gicole.
Thereafter, Campus Administrator, Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villaruz seized the stage with her welcoming remarks, followed by the inspirational messages of the SUC President, Dr. Editha C. Alfon and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Susan O. Dangan in which they stressed the importance of the aforementioned examination.
Moreover, words of encouragement were delivered by the different Program Chairs in the persons of Dr. Eduardo I. Diosalan, Jr. (BPEd), Dr. Marybelle F. Amenamen (BTLEd) and Dr. Mary Grace B. Galagate (BSEd) to the CoEd alumni and LET takers from CapSU - Main Campus.
Succeeding on the latter part of the event, LET takers from different majors were given the opportunity to deliver their responses through a speech and was superseded by the communal prayer led by Prof. Vicmar B. Solano which was inspired by his trip to Israel wherein he prayed for the board exam takers on their journey to LET and wished for the best possible outcome.
Ending the said event, Dr. Hazel D. Joaquin, CoEd Dean, delivered her closing remarks in which she gave her heartwarming messages and advices to the future teachers in taking the examination.
The CapSU - Main Campus board exam takers are now set to Iloilo City on Sunday, March 19, 2023 to try their best shot in becoming professional teachers.
