Capiz State University (CapSU) - Main Campus marked its 106th Foundation Anniversary with a display of various talent at the CapSUTanghalan event held on September 28, 2023.
From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the university's own CapSU Main Chorale (CMC), CapSU Main Dance Troupe (CMDT), and talented high school performers took the stage to showcase to the audience their diverse range of performances.
The event, which highlighted the beauty of Original Pinoy Music (OPM), featured a dynamic lineup of acts; from hiphop to folk dance, interpretative dance to kikay, the performers exhibited their versatility and creativity, delivering performances such as renditions of OPM classics like "Ikaw at Ikaw" and "Raining in Manila."
CapSUTanghalan also demonstrated the fusion of various musical elements, in which they performed acapella, played electric guitar and piano, and presented contemporary dances.
The event also served as a demonstration of CapSU's enduring spirit, as it brought together students from different departments and levels, fostering unity and a sense of pride in their institution.
