CapSUndayag 2023: Organizations and Club Fair

As part of the ceremonial welcoming of the students of Capiz State University (CapSU) - Main Campus, various accredited clubs and organizations were recognized during the “CAPSUNDAYAG: An Organizational Affair and Booth Exhibit” held at CapSU Dadivas Gymnasium on August 25, 2023.


“Today I feel very privileged and honored to stand here in front of you all and acknowledge all our accredited and recognized student organizations for the academic year 2023-2024. It’s nice to be back after 4 long years that we had this face-to-face, as this program is held to recognize these organizations and give you, students, the opportunity to better know the vision, mission, and purpose of these various organizations,” Dr. Eimee D. Potato, Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Chairperson, expressed her welcome message.


As one of the highlights of the said program, video presentations prepared by the participating clubs and organizations were played on screen, presenting their organization advisers and members, activities and services offered, achievements, and their mission, vision, and purposes.


Afterward, a certificate of recognition was given to all the recognized and accredited organizations that participated, and certificates and cash were awarded to organizations that nailed the video presentation, organizational poster, and booth exhibit.


Procuring the video presentation, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) secured the 3rd place, Kapisanan ng mga Edukador sa Filipino (KapEduFil) as 2nd place, and Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) as 1st place; for the organizational poster, The Quest Publication (TQ) clinched the 3rd place, United Architects of Philippine Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) as 2nd place, and CapSU Main Chorale (CMC) was hailed as 1st place; lastly, for the booth exhibit, CapSU Main Dance Troupe (CMDT) obtained the 3rd place, Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) as 2nd place, and United Architect of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) got the 1st place.


“To all the advisers who keep on supporting the organizations and activities of this campus, this is just the start, and until now we have a lot of activities that you will be portraying and you will be supporting,” Dr. Emmanuel D. Dayalo, Student Organization and Activities Coordinator, conveyed in his closing remarks.


The CapSU-Main student organizations that joined the said event were the Supreme Student Council (SSC), Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), SSC COED Sub-Chapter, SSC CEAT Sub-Chapter, SSC CM Sub-Chapter, SSC BIT Sub-Chapter, Society of English Majors (SEM), Society of Future Science Mentors (SoFSMe), Future Livelihood Mentors (FuLiMent), Kapisanan ng mg Edukador sa Filipino (KapEduFil), CapSU Circle of PEHM and MAPEH (CCPM), Junior Association of Marketing Students (JAMS), Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES), Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE), Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME), United Architect of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA), Association of Accredited Public Administrators (ASSAPA), CapSU Artists’ Guild, Empire of Food Technology Elites (EFTE), CapSU Main Chorale (CMC), CapSU Main Dance Troupe (CMDT), The Quest Publication, The Ledger, SULO Publication, Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), Capiz Eco Youth Volunteers (CEYV), Organization of Responsible and Active Student Assistants (ORASA), Gawad Kalinga (GK), and United Colors of CapSU (UCC).
