Joana Sharmine Arrobang of Capiz State University, Roxas City, Main Campus, bagged the Lin ay sang Turismo kag Kultura 2024 title at the Hangaway kag Lin-ay sang Capiz 2024 coronation night held at Capiz Gymnasium Villareal Stadium on April 30, Tuesday.
Representing CapSU Main Campus, Joana, a 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student at the said institution, outperformed nine beautiful candidates from all over the province in a battle of confidence and wit.
She is a part of the court of the new Lin-ay sang Capiz 2024, Aaliaa Srishti Sharma from Filamer Christian University together with Mitchie Sangalang from CapSU Dumarao as the Lin-ay sang Capiztahan 2024, and Charlotte Christine Valgomera and Cathrian Lozada as the first-runner-up and second-runner-up, respectively.
For the male category, Hangaway sang Capiz 2024, and Paul Niño Deondo from the College of Engineering and Architecture represented CapSU Main but fell short in making it to the top.
Joshua Baltero from the League of Municipalities-CCapiz Chapyer was crowned as the Hangaway sang Capiz 2024 together with his court; Joseph Danora from Hercor College as the Hangaway sang Capiztahan 2024; Rodney Barrios from the Sangguniang Kabataan Province of Capiz as the Hangaway sang Turismo kag Kultura; and Hanns Arraya and Shundale Gallenero as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
The Hangaway and Lin-ay Sang Capiz 2024 grand coronation night featured big pageantry names like Nicole Cordovez, Binibining Pilipinas—Grand International 2016 and Miss Grand International 2016—1st Runner Up, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Miss Universe Philippines 2021, and famous designer Mr. Albert Andrada.
