They and our legal system are comparable in many ways. I decided to sign up for the International Short Course out of pure curiosity. I was given the chance to respond to these questions when I was chosen to take part in the International Program with the partner university, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), so I seized the chance without thinking twice. For me, inclusivity is important. It is crucial to comprehend each culture and its ideas for this reason. Through this, we can improve the ties between our various nations”, Restar stated.
Variety of topics were discussed with 150 minutes time allotment each, wherein participants took part both synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
“As a person that is in love with learning, I enjoyed learning all the topics that were presented to us. Added by the fact that the professors catered all our queries about their legal system, this fueled my motivation to be more open to a variety of laws situated in Asia; as well as what lies beyond the continent”, De Guzman said.
