Registered and accredited student organizations attended the induction ceremony during the 106th Foundation Anniversary Celebration of the Capiz State University (CapSU) - Main Campus held at the university's Dadivas Gym on September 28.
“To be a good leader is called being a great human. To be a great leader, you need to have the quality to lead the people. So, start holding on to them and be a source of inspiration for others,” said Dr. Eimee D. Potato, Chairperson of Student Affairs and Services (SA).
The organizations which took their oath of leadership were the Supreme Student Council (SSC) National, SSC CoEd, CEAT, CM, and BIT Local Sub-Chapters, Kapisanan ng mga Edukador sa Filipino (KapEduFil); Society of Future Science Mentors (SoFSMe); Society of English Majors (SEM), CapSU Circle of PEHM and MAPEH (CCPM), Future Livelihood Mentors (FuLiMent), Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), United Architects of Philippine Student Auxiliary (JPSA), Junior Philippines Society of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME), Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE), Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), Junior Public Administration Society (JPAS), Junior Association of Marketing Students (JAMS), Young Entrepreneur Society (YES), Empire of Food Technology Elites (EFTE), The Quest Publication, SULO Publication, The Ledger, United Colors of CapSU (UCC), Gawad Kalinga (GK) Youth, Organization of Responsible Student Assistants (ORASA), Capiz Eco-Youth Volunteer – CapSU Main Chapter (CEYV), Youth for Christ, CapSU Artist Guild, CapSU Main Chorale (CMC), CapSU Main Dance Troupe (CMDT), and Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru).
The oath-taking ceremony was presided over by the Student Regent Ervi Kile Bulquerin, followed by the opening remarks of Dr. Emmanuel D. Dayalo, Student Organizations and Activities (SOA), and the pledging of the organizations’ officers was officiated by the inducting officer, Dr. Potato.
